Each and every person — including you — is unique, and your challenges, needs, and goals in therapy are unique, too.

My approach is holistic, meaning each unique piece of you is welcome in the therapeutic space, helping you become the most authentic version of yourself.

A woman wearing a winter jacket and hat sits on a log, facing away from the camera. She is surrounded by rocks and pine trees, staring out past a lake toward the snowy mountains ahead.

I draw from multiple therapeutic approaches and methods in our work together, including Attachment/Psychodynamic theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-informed therapy, grief therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and divorce/co-parenting couples counseling.

While I can’t guarantee the length of our time together from the outset, you will know what our goals are and the reasons for my therapeutic work. As opposed to some other therapeutic approaches, I will dig into your past and explore your history for a better understanding of the path that has brought you to therapy today.

Whether you’re an adult individual, a teen, the parent of a teen, or a couple seeking counseling for marriage, divorce, or co-parenting, I’m here to support you through the unique challenges you’re facing at this stage of life.

Let me share an overview of the first few steps of our work together:

When you first click that “get started” button, we will set up a free 15-minute phone introduction to give you a chance to describe what they are looking for in therapy. This call also gives me the time to assess if your needs are a good fit for my areas of expertise, knowing that a good therapeutic fit is essential for your healing.

In this call, I will also provide some background about myself and information about session fees and cost, times, and frequency. If you decide to accept an appointment, I will then put your information in my electronic health record software, which will auto-populate and send an email with the appropriate paperwork to be completed before attending our first session.

The first session will begin with a quick overview of the documents you have signed and answer any questions you may have. We will then begin to dialogue about the history of the issue you are looking to address and a bit more background about the process of assessment and goal development. Beyond this first session our journey together will take a very client-centered, collaborative approach to understanding and identifying your unique goals and needs.

I offer weekly, bi-weekly or every other week 50-minute sessions. My rate is $155 per session, but I can offer a reduced rate in rare instances. Please reach out to inquire if you are in need of a reduced rate.

I am a private pay practitioner but offer superbills for clients to submit for reimbursement to their HSA/FSA insurance plans when requested. Superbills can be a great option to utilize your insurance, even with out of network providers like myself. Learn more on my FAQs page.
